Greg & Roseanne Hague Cabin In Pinetop

This is a great cabin that I designed and built for Greg & Roseanne several years ago in Pinetop. It was a very enjoyable collaboration with Roseanne and her design sense along with my input. Greg pretty much just told me to make her happy and that's what we did.

Greg and Roseanne got very close to my dad, who ran our cabinet shop as we worked together on the cabinet design and this ended up being one of his last projects before passing. He was very proud of this job.

We built all the cabinetry as well as the doors on this project. We used local lumber mills for the beetle kill pine that had all the great blueing in the wood, which adds such great character. Greg wanted something really different for the stairs, landing and railing. We created a seating area at the landing at the midway point. The railings are from from boring with the natural branches as balusters, which was quite the challenge to meet the building code spacing requirements.
