New trend for master baths...bathing rooms

There is a new trend that I really love and that is bathing rooms. It is a minimum of combing the tub & the shower together or sometimes tiling the entire bath area or at least portions so that the tub & shower areas are all part of the same room. This has been in Europe forever, it's good to see it here.

I've included a few renderings of a couple projects that are soon to be built.

Dr. Harry (Skip) & Stacia Watters Remodel

This was an extensive remodel and addition project that I did for Skip & Stacia some years back. It demanded the finest finish carpentry skills and I brought in Don Bastman to help with the project. Not on;t did we have stack moldings and elliptical arches, we had a secret room disguised so well, no one can even figure where it is, let alone how to access it thru swing away cabinetry with electronic releases.

Stacia is a natural at interior design and we spent hundreds of hours working thru the design in the beginning and as it evolved thru the project. When they say two minds are better than one, that was made very evident. We made a great team that created an amazing end result.

Skip and Stacia have been clients for years, but more importantly, friends.

Dr Alan & Jennifer Wamboldt Home

This is a home I built over 20 years ago for Alan and Jennifer. They raised their family in this home and just recently sold it. It was around 7,000 square feet, on 1 1/3 acre citrus property in Mesa.

Stornelli Cabin in Torreon

This was one of about 20 cabins I designed and built in Torreon. Most of them ended up being a blend of the rustic along with fine finishes.
